Hearthstone at Murrayhill

At Hearthstone at Murrayhill we know that one of the keys to good health is regular exercise. That’s why our experienced exercise guru leads exercise classes every weekday morning in the exercise room or activity room. Our workouts incorporate a variety of techniques — lively music to motivate, light weights to build strength and tone muscles, stretching exercises to limber up, movements to improve balance, and mentally challenging routines to keep our minds sharp.

Periodically Hearthstone offers a special “Breathe & Balance” class. This class is designed to improve residents’ posture, breathing and balance when using walkers or canes, getting up from chairs, and sitting for long periods of time.

Some residents also enjoy a regular walking program. When the weather cooperates, residents stroll through our beautiful courtyards, explore the pathway around the perimeter of our campus, or walk the sidewalks in the tranquil Murrayhill neighborhood.

For those wanting to take their exercise program to the next level, Hearthstone at Murrayhill offers residents a 24-hour fitness center with treadmills, stationary bicycles, and upper-body/lower-body weight machines. We make it easy and convenient for you to workout — so you are more likely to keep moving!
